The Oregon Hospitality Foundation is proud to celebrate the outstanding success of this year’s Giving Tuesday Campaign—a day that demonstrated the strength, generosity, and unity of Oregon’s hospitality community.

Thanks to the incredible support of individual donors and industry partners this past November 2025, $15,000 was raised and matched by industry members, resulting close to $30,000 contributed in just one day. This powerful outcome underscores what is possible when our industry comes together with a shared commitment to workforce development, education, and opportunity.

We extend our deepest appreciation to our matching sponsors—Sysco, McDonald Wholesale, and US Foods—whose leadership and generosity made this level of impact possible. By matching donations, these partners doubled every contribution and encouraged broader participation throughout the campaign. Their continued investment in the Oregon Hospitality Foundation reflects a strong belief in developing talent, supporting education, and strengthening the hospitality workforce statewide.

The amount raised through Giving Tuesday will directly support the Foundation’s mission-driven programs, including ProStart hospitality, culinary and restaurant management education, educator resources, and workforce development initiatives. These funds translate into real-world impact—students gaining access to hands-on learning, educators enhancing classroom experiences, and employers benefiting from a more prepared and inspired future workforce.

While Giving Tuesday was an incredible success, it also served as a reminder that sustained, year-round support is essential to advancing the Foundation’s work. The hospitality industry evolves rapidly, and ongoing contributions allow the Oregon Hospitality Foundation to remain adaptable, responsive, and impactful ensuring we continue to meet the needs of students, educators, and industry partners across the state.
